Reader’s Review : ONKYO HT-S7800
Having a good speaker set at your home is merely more than just an appendage these days. People who prefer to watch movies are investing big in the latest Ultra HD 4K 3D TVs. But no matter how expensive your TV set is or how immersive experience does it provide, there is always a downside to these TVs i.e. the sound. I recently upgraded to LG’s 4K 3D TV and it’s one of the best TVs I have ever used. The contrast ratios are amazing and so are the pixels—it’s UHD after all. But then again, I must say that the sound isn’t satisfactory even on such an expensive device, something I would want to experience while watching my favorite movies. I wanted that surround sound experience that you get with Dolby Atmos or Dolby Surround Sound from a cinema.
I knew that I need something that is powerful enough to echo my entire home when I will be watching the Conjuring 2, or the upcoming Fast 8 on my TV. I want to experience those creaking doors and the screeching tyres. But considering I had already spent $2500 on a new TV, I couldn’t spend the same for my speaker set. Initially, I thought ONKYO HT-S7800 is just another of the speaker sets that you can connect to your TV and have some loud, pitchy noise while watching movies, but when I asked the salesperson at the store to give me a walkthrough of the product, I was impressed.
ONKYO HT-S7800 Speaker Set is what I am talking about. It has an 1190 Watts of power that was enough to silence everyone in that hall where we were testing these speakers (the device was connected to Samsung’s 4K UHD TV). Therefore, as I have to know a little more about the speakers, I was able to understand why it’s priced that high. After knowing what this speakers set has to offer, you would also agree that the price tag isn’t that hefty.
ONKYO HT-S7800 support Audio Amplification, something that’s really important when you are watching something with low background score. If you profoundly love to watch horror movies, audio amplification is something you should really look into for your new speaker set. Then, these speakers are DTS:X Ready and supports Dolby Atmos, providing you the most immersive experience from your speaker set. I never had used additional speakers with my TV set before, but it’s the first time I have tried out something, and I must say this speaker set really provides a cinematic experience.

It’s HDMI compatible so you can have 4k UltraHD video performance on your TV sets. ONKYP HT-S7800 speaker sets are intricate from inside but extremely user-friendly. There is a button for every feature that you want to access. It’s certainly is a great choice for anyone who is looking for a great speaker set on a budget.
