LG 24LM530S-PU Review

If you’re on tight budget and still looking for a reliable quality SMART television, this could be a good news for you. Reliable brand LG Electronics has released it’s new 24″ budget friendly smart television to the market. The latest LG Electronics 24LM530S-PU comes with decent specification and attractive price tag. Here is our quick LG 24LM530S-PU review to explore more about this new model.

Here is where television and computer monitor meets. LG has designed this model to use both as smart television and desktop monitor. In the age of large screen televisions with narrow bezels and fancy stands, LG 24LM530S-PU simply looks like a retro style computer monitor. However, the display unit doesn’t miss any features of a standard smart TV.

The monitor -cum- television sports 23.6-inch screen with 1366 x 768 HD resolution. As we can expect, the display is not as sharp and vivid as we see in Full-HD and UHD televisions. But it offers a decent enough display quality, considering the price tag. As the screen size also small, you may not notice the difference in pixel density unless you’re very close to the screen.

The Smart TV runs on LG’s webOS platform. You can download tons of media streaming and other apps from LG content store. File manager, web browser and few games are pre-installed.

LG 24LM530S-PU comes with full array of ports, including 2x HDMI, RCA input, composite input and USB port for flash drives. The television also has built-in WiFi to support smart TV functions and media streaming from smartphones. The television also features built-in Analog (NTSC) and Digital (ATSC) tuners.

The LG 24LM530S-PU also comes with built-in dual 5W stereo speakers, powered by DTS (DTS 2.0 Channel) and Dolby Audio. The monitor -cum- television has got a decent looking stands, also wall mountable. It features screw holes on rear with 75x75mm pitch, compatible with industry standard VESA 75 mount hardware.
